Refund Policy
A straightforward 14-day guarantee for single reports and reseller license packs — plus clear rules for unused licenses.
1. What This Policy Covers
Audit Machine sells two kinds of paid product, and this policy covers both:
- Single Report unlock — a one-time purchase (standard $99.95, or promotional price) that unlocks one full graded report.
- Reseller / wholesale license packs — bundles of 1, 5, or 10 licenses purchased at agency rates. Each license runs one complete audit on one website, and you draw them down from your reseller dashboard.
Both are backed by the 14-day satisfaction guarantee below. Reseller packs carry a few additional rules (Section 3) that make clear what is refundable and what is not.
2. The 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a purchase, you may request a full refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of the purchase date. We would rather refund you than have you feel misled.
How to request: email support@auditmachine.io with:
- Order / payment reference (Stripe receipt ID or order number)
- Account email
- The Target Site URL(s) involved, if applicable
- A short explanation of why you are unsatisfied
You do not need to justify a single-report refund beyond a brief reason. We read every request, and we approve in good faith.
3. Reseller & Wholesale License Refunds
License packs are bought in bulk to be used over time, so the guarantee works on the licenses themselves — per license, not per pack.
3.1 Unused licenses are fully refundable
Any license you have not yet used to run an audit is refundable in full within the 14-day window. If you buy a 10-license pack and use two, you may request a refund for the eight unused licenses.
3.2 Used licenses are not refundable
The moment a license runs, the audit is generated and the deliverable is produced. A used license cannot be refunded, because the service has already been performed and delivered to your account.
3.3 Partial-pack refunds
Refunds on a partially used pack are calculated on the unused licenses only, at the per-license rate you actually paid for that pack. Example: a 5-license Pro pack at $79.95/license, with one license used, refunds 4 × $79.95 = $319.80. We do not re-price the used license at the higher single-license rate.
3.4 Unused licenses do not expire
Licenses you have purchased do not expire, and you may use them whenever a client needs an audit. The 14-day guarantee applies to the purchase; after 14 days, unused licenses remain in your dashboard for later use but are no longer refundable.
3.5 If an audit fails to deliver
If a license is consumed by an audit that fails to complete or does not deliver a report through no fault of your own, the license is automatically restored to your balance — there is nothing to refund, and no cost to you. You may re-run the audit free of charge.
3.6 Whole-pack refunds
If none of the licenses in a pack have been used, the entire pack is refundable within the 14-day window.
3.7 Mixing products
Single Report purchases and license packs are refunded under their own terms. A single-report purchase does not draw from, or affect, your license balance.
4. How and When Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe, typically within ten (10) business days after approval. Your bank may take additional time to post the credit.
Refunded licenses (or the unused portion of a pack) are removed from your balance once the refund is approved, so refunded and usable licenses cannot overlap. The billing descriptor may appear as “Audit Machine.”
5. What Is Covered
- Single paid Report unlocks (standard or promotional price)
- Unused licenses in a reseller / wholesale pack, within the 14-day window
- Dissatisfaction with Report quality or completeness relative to our marketed deliverable
- Service failure to deliver a purchased Report or audit
6. Fair Use — When We May Deny or Claw Back
We may deny, limit, or claw back a refund if we reasonably find:
- Request filed after the 14-day window
- A refund request for licenses that have already been used (see Section 3.2)
- Duplicate or serial refund abuse across accounts
- Payment fraud or stolen payment instruments
- Material misrepresentation in the refund request
- Report or deliverables were downloaded/accessed and then redistributed or resold as a competing product, then refunded
- Licenses, credits, or accounts transferred, resold, or shared in a way that defeats per-account purchase and logging (see the Acceptable Use Policy)
- Coordinated chargeback schemes
We may ask you to confirm that you will stop further commercial redistribution of a Report as a condition of refund.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact support before filing a chargeback. Give us at least five (5) business days to respond (except confirmed unauthorized fraud, where your bank requires faster action).
If a dispute is filed, we may submit an evidence pack to Stripe / the issuer, including acceptance logs, delivery proof, Target Site URL, license-usage records, price/refund disclosures, and related communications (see Terms §6.5 and the Privacy Policy).
Unwarranted chargebacks may lead to account termination, forfeiture of remaining unused licenses, and recovery of chargeback fees to the extent permitted by law and network rules.
8. Free Previews
Free grades, teasers, or partial findings are complimentary and not separately refundable.
9. Non-Waivable Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits non-waivable rights under applicable consumer-protection laws. Where a mandatory local law gives you a stronger refund right than this Policy, that law controls.
