Legal
Acceptable Use
The rules for what you may and may not do with the Audit Machine service.
Permitted Use
You may use the Service to request CRO-oriented analysis of Target Sites that you own or are authorized to analyze, to receive Reports, and to use those Reports for lawful internal business purposes (including sharing with a client under Terms §5.7).
Prohibited Uses
You may not:
2.1 Illegal or harmful activity
- Violate any law or third-party right (privacy, IP, computer fraud, export/sanctions, consumer protection, etc.)
- Use the Service to stalk, harass, dox, defraud, or threaten anyone
- Submit Target Sites that distribute malware, phishing, or illegal content
2.2 Unauthorized access / abuse of systems
- Probe, scan, penetrate, or attack Company systems or other users
- Bypass rate limits, authentication, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, or technical access controls on our Service
- Demand that we bypass login walls, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, or access controls on a Target Site
- Overwhelm the Service with automated bulk requests beyond published or reasonable limits
2.3 Scraping / competitive misuse
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest the Service, Reports library, pricing, or non-public methods to build a competing product
- Resell or white-label Reports as your own automated audit SaaS without a written license
- Remove or obscure proprietary notices, disclaimers, or AI disclosures in Reports when redistributing to clients (except as a written white-label license allows)
2.4 Data & privacy abuse
- Submit Target Sites primarily to collect personal data about individuals unrelated to a legitimate CRO engagement you are authorized to perform
- Upload others’ personal information into support channels except as needed for your account
- Attempt to re-identify de-identified datasets we publish or share
2.5 Payment & account abuse
- Use stolen cards, false identities, or coordinated chargeback / refund fraud
- Share accounts in a way that defeats authentication or audit logging
- Circumvent plan, promo, or geographic restrictions
2.6 Misrepresentation
- Imply that Company partners with, endorses, or is employed by a Target Site owner without permission
- Claim guaranteed conversion, revenue, or ranking results based on a Report
Target Site Analysis Limits
We may refuse, throttle, pause, or stop a crawl/analysis if:
- The Target Site blocks automated access, returns legal threats, or appears high-risk
- We reasonably suspect you lack authority
- Analysis would require bypassing authentication or technical barriers
- Continuing would create legal, security, or operational risk
Refusal does not by itself entitle you to damages; refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy and Terms.
Enforcement
We may investigate violations and may warn, suspend, terminate, delete content, rate-limit, report to authorities, or pursue civil remedies. We are not obligated to monitor all use but may do so for security, fraud, legal compliance, and Service integrity.
Reporting Abuse
Report suspected abuse to legal@auditmachine.io or support@auditmachine.io.
Changes
We may update this AUP by posting a revised version. Material changes follow the Terms’ change process.
